I believe everyone's story is worth while. A story someone would watch in the movies if captured through the artistic eye of a creative director. Uniquely and intentionally woven together by the Creator Himself. My favorite part of what I do is getting to be even a small part of watching these stories unfold in the lives of each of my amazing clients, and I get the special honor of being the creative director behind the scenes, capturing the stills of your own little movie about your life.
There is so much beauty in the world around me. Creation encapsulates not just what the eye can see in the beauty of soft sunlight through the trees or a rainbow peaking through the clouds of rainfall. Creation points to the heart. God's heart, felt through the love of family full of tears as the bride walks down the aisle. The overwhelming joy of the first kiss. The pure warmth of a child's laugh. The overflow of the heart is what drives my art, the beauty of the things unseen.
WHAT INSPIRES ME:
- MUSIC: Orchestral, sound-track music. Anytime I listen to Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Cody fry (Look them up if you don't know them), and many other composers, I am taken to a different world of imagination and inspiration.
- MOVIES: Epic romances, Fantasy Adventures. Think "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "Narnia" My absolute favorite of all time is "The Lord of the rings". The cinematography and visual/musical story-telling of these films are incredibly beautiful. I also love the visual-story telling of a classic Romance or rom-com.
- NATURE: Sunlight, tall oak trees, mountain peaks. Things that make me wonder how much more beautiful heaven will be and rejoice in that I get to experience even just a glimpse of it now.
- PIANO: My first ever creative love. I have been playing since I was only 5 years old! I draw inspiration for the songs I compose from the same inspiration that inspires my photography. Photography inspires my music & music inspires my art <3
